Promattex offers two media combinations (printing film + transfer tape) to meet all types of UV DTF printing requirements and applications!
In UV DTF printing, the image is first printed on the printing film (A or C, depending on the printer’s colour configuration), then transferred to the transfer tape (B or D) through the lamination system integrated in the NUV3040 printer.
Glue Paper A + Glue Tape B
Glue Paper A is a printing film already coated with adhesive, meaning the printer does not need to print an additional glue layer. Required for the 8C version and compatible with 9C/10C/10C+ versions, this media ensures excellent adhesion and durability for printed designs.
Once laminated with Glue Tape B, the tape collects both the print and the adhesive layer from Glue Paper A, ready to be applied to the surface of your choice!
Note: Due to the high tack of the adhesive, once it has been transferred onto Tape B, this media combination is not suitable for fragile-coated surfaces.
Standard Paper C + Standard Paper D
Standard Paper C is a non-adhesive printing film designed to receive the adhesive underlayer printed by the UV DTF printer during the process. Suitable for 9C/10C/10C+ versions, this media provides broader compatibility with a wide range of substrates, including those with delicate coatings.
The printed areas will include their own adhesive layer, while Tape D has a low-tack adhesive, allowing the prints to be easily lifted and transferred.
